On Friday, 12 July, Mr. Suto from Ernst & Young Shinnihon Tax gave a presentation to IBA Japan members on recent developments in the tax system, in Japan and abroad, and their impact on foreign financial institutions. Over 30 staff from IBA Japan member firms attended this information forum.

The IBA is pleased to welcome Mr. Suto from Ernst & Young Shinnihon Tax to discuss recent developments in the tax system, in Japan and abroad, and their impact on foreign financial institutions. Specific focus will be on cross-border tax rules including, but not limited to, the Authorized OECD Approach (AOA), etc. Prior to joining Ernst & Young in October of 2012, Mr. Suto worked at Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities Co., Ltd., and at Arthur Andersen. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
