IBA Japan SeminarTechnology

Mr Terry Bebbington and Mr Atsushi Takano will be discussing some of the key challenges being faced by the financial industry from cybersecurity threats, and the effect of cyberattacks on different parts of their business. They will explore various ways firms can prepare for cyberattacks, and  the type of responses they might adopt.

This presentation will discuss:

  • What are the key areas within a firm that Gartner has identified as cybersecurity risks, and how these vary between firms for reasons including: the way they carry out their business, their organizational structure and the skill level and awareness of their employees.
  • Highlight security challenges faced by financial services firms, and look at some of the issues they may face in the future.
  • Discuss what actions firms might take as they prepare to fight cybersecurity threats.
