Mr Terry Bebbington and Mr Atsushi Takano will be discussing some of the key challenges being faced by the financial industry from cybersecurity threats, and the effect of cyberattacks on different parts of their business. They will explore various ways firms can prepare for cyberattacks, and the type of responses they might adopt.

Terry Bebbington is based in the U.K. and is the Security Practice manager for Gartner, covering the Europe, Middle East and Asia regions.
Bebbington has more than twenty years of experience in Information Security, and has worked in a range of industries. His clients have included: financial and professional services, public sector, as well as the Ministry of Defence in the U.K.
Bebbington holds a MSc with distinction in Information Security from the Royal Holloway University of London. He is also certified as a ITIL V3, ISO/IEC 270001 Lead Auditor and as a CISSP.
Takano started his career as a banker at one of the largest Japanese banks and spent more than 10 years in the IT department, implementing core banking, derivative, and risk management systems. He also worked in a large accounting firm and where he was executive director. He carried out regulatory audits (including US-SOX) and IT audits (including system internal controls, governance and security).
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Information Security Manager (CISM and Internal Auditor (CIA).
