Executive Committee The IBA is governed by an annually elected Executive Committee that is responsible for the overall direction and achievement of the association’s objectives. Banking Sector Committee Banking Sector Committee (BSC) discusses and prioritises the Association’s engagement on issues that affect foreign banks in Japan. Securities Sector Committee The Securities Sector Committee (SSC) discuss regulatory and market developments and agree on and prioritise advocacy positions. Asset management Committee The Asset Management Committee (AMC) discusses regulatory and market developments, prioritising advocacy efforts to support asset management members and promote a transparent and efficient market in Japan. Other Groups IBA Japan has a number of other groups including tax and legal working groups as well as a forum to discuss operational and business issues.
